Gasgas ec250 help

Don't know if this is going in the correct forum but i couldn't find one for Gasgas.

Can any body help me on this one?

I'm looking at buying a 2004 ec250 but it's a bit violent and would like to know can the handlebar mapping switch be fitted to the 2004 model as it is on the 2005??

Also can you fit different power valve springs on them in the same way you can on the ktm exc's...............................

Jut checked his website seems to be a trials dealer, the EC250 is an enduro bike. Didn't see any on his site, it does list him as a Gasgas dealer so will give him a ring Monday afternoon when i finish work.

On my KTM, the mapping switch is under the seat instead of on the handle bars like on earlier models. I asked the dealer about this and he said that it was to prevent the mapping being changed whilst the bike was "on the go" as that can apparently be quite an expensive mistake to have to fix. So maybe having a switch on the handlebars isn't such a good idea.
