XRV run Off Road Day - Sat 10th May

I've cocked the poll up - DOH - you're supposed to be able to say if youre interested in an inhouse or school course, and THEN tick one or two day course, but it'll only let you tick one - so maybe in youre post you could indicate if you were up for one or two days.

Once we have numbers we could then look at dates/places. Fiest of all we need to know theres enough bodies on the forum to make it worth while.

D'oh, you can only vote once!

Trust me to get it a bit wrong! . I'm up for it though, deffo count me in.

Browsing the threads that led here, Alps, do you mean "Hit the Dirt", nr. Swaffham in Norfolk? Its a pretty good enduro track, between 1 - 4 miles long, mostly on sand, but some mud and lots of puddles. Its quite tight, would be slow on a TA or bigger, but very possible.

Lla........................... farm, I've got a flyer somewhere, Jenna mentioned it by correct name, could be used, but I'd guess we'd need to B+B it there, and its not that cheap. (Good though) It has a off road area to play on, that could allow some good teaching.

Then there's Ashdown MX circuit, £15 for a Sunday ride, lots of fast boys, but plenty of kids too, you can get round at your own pace. Very little chance to regroup on the track and discuss bits. A place I think to move on to.

My local area shut down at the end of Aug, so we're stuffed there.

Toms Farm is probably a bit hairy for bikes like mine, and has a poor safety record.

Anton I think mentioned a track essex/London way ? but I don't know any details.

Sharri, what is there in your neck of the woods?

Lets keep this one going, the Italian club have their race day, lets get our "training day" sorted.

Anyone got a copy of the Training Day sketch, was it by the Goons, or Monty Python? (Or someone completely different??)

Re: XRV run Off Road Day(s)

Hi Sharri

legally is the biggest problem, accorrding to the council / police it's now illegal to ride anywere off road these days.

Mid wales is probably to best area to look at (builth wells) the natives seem more friendly to off roading and biking in general.
