Plume of Feathers, Dartmoor 11-14 September 2008

So, 40 tent pitches have been booked at the Plume of Feathers, Princetown, Dartmoor, for the Thursday 11 September to Sunday 14 September. More space may be booked if we get the numbers up.
There are also bunk houses with their own shower and little kitchen areas and the pub does B&B. There is another pub in the village too.
Lord Vader will be along shortly with the prices and any booking details.
At least one off-road rideout is being planned and a road-based route is being worked out. Another one may also be considered.
For those there early, we may even play a game of Prison Breakout, with some riders setting off as escaped convicts with a 15 minute head start over the wardens who need to find them.
So prison breakouts are the theme. Music support from the Clash (the Prisoner, Bankrobber, I fought the law etc), plus I'm sure you musical lot will come up with some others (Sham 69, Borstal Breakout - oops I've started already)
I am not a number. I am a human being.

Re: Plume of Feathers, Dartmoor 11-14 September 2008

Ok spoke to Sandra from the Plume today and provisionally booked 40 spaces on the campsite for us
Camping is £6.50 a night per Person
    Bunks
Available 10 Bed Bunk @ £125 which would be £12.50 a person incl. Breakfast!!!
4 Bed Bunk @ £65 also incl. Breakfast
2 Bed bunk @ £32.50 same as above incl. Breakfast
    B&B at £ 37.50 a Person
I will later in the year ave a weekend there and check the place out
and talk to them about putting up a Marque and maybe adding additional loo's.Depending what the one's on site look like
If we want to book the whole place i am sure they would want a big deposit so i would say for the bunks(and B&B) its a case of phone and book yourself as soon as possible
    We shall be camping

Unfortunitly for you lot, but fortunitly for me, while your all huddled under canvas or drowning your tears in the pub because it's pouring with rain in the West Country, as it does there every year in September... I'll be riding back from Southern Italy and should, if all goes to plan be on the Adriatic coast somewhere in Montenegro at the time... (ahhh sun, sea, sex and motorcycles )

Hey boyz and girls, sorry I wont be able to make it this year Well not unless my sisters cancels her wedding in Positano that week... (umm... wait a minute... I have a cunning plan )

And i was so looking forward to Drop Testing Chads new Orange thing

OK I'll abandon my punk rock hopes. Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak it is (I admit to owning it, but don't tell any of my punk mates)
