National meet Itinerary

Without wishing to fill this section full of National Meet this & National Meet that type of stuff,is there any kind of rough itinery for the weekend - rideouts planned, wet T shirt competitions etc?

And is there some chance this thread for this thread to remain (even slightly) on topic!

Phil

Re: National meet Itinery

I'll be organising a couple of Tarmac Only rideout for Friday & Saturday - depending on numbers we might need to organise 2 or 3 different ones to keep them manageable.

It is in a pub's grounds. And there is a little shop in the village too.

Re: National meet Itinery

OK - I'll organise 2 rideouts - one on Friday and one on Saturday. No rideouts for me on Sunday as I will be recovering from Saturday evening, dismantling and packing the marquee and contents, and going home........

Depending on numbers hopefully a couple of others will organise other rideouts..

My 2 rideouts will be TARMAC ONLY - with frequent stops for coffee / photos.

Friday 12th - I'll be doing a 'Historic Plymouth' rideout stopping for lunch at the famous 'Cap'n Jaspers' on The Barbican - approx 90 miles / 4-5 hours - will post the route back here when finalised.

Saturday 13th - I'll lead a 'Central Dartmoor' rideout - approx 70 miles / 4 hours with coffee / photo stops - again I'll post the route here when finalised.

These rides will be limited to a maximum 20 bikes (using Drop-Off System) - otherwise it becomes unmanageable on the road.

I'm only able to go up Friday night after work, but a little midnight mud could well be on the cards, if anyone wants.

.

I'm happy to try to put together a map-based muddy run, but if there's local knowledge that would be a much better run leader.
Hear there's lots of rock stuff down that way?

Re: National meet Itinery

The Forum Shop and Rugged Roads will be taking to the road as well - so all items will be available in the Marquee.

Re: National meet Itinery

Ok we will have a representative from MacMillan and the local press coming along on Saturday the 13th of September at 10.30 am.
I just think it is a good opportunity to get some exposure for the Forum.
After all we managed to get more than £15000 together.
We thought we could do a symbolic Cheque handover and a nice big Group photo
