Re: Find a bike for cabby !

Test rode the BMW r850r ...very pleasant and balanced...liked it...BUT

There was something missing ...Just bland I think (Bland AND up and running though ).

When I got back I went and sat on Alp and straight awayI was 'chomping at the bit' to ride off somewhere...Never had that feel on the BMW....

Think I'd like both...

Watching the XTZ750...Already at Dartmoor waiting...He's gonna let the auction run..(never thought I'd do that BIN thing...at least I meant it)

Off to work late....

Thanks for all the offers chaps..(can't accept..No Offence)......Rare people eh...but not on here

Re: Find a bike for cabby !

Watching the XTZ still......

Guess wot now....There's an Africa Twin XRV650 1988 down the road he's asking £1500 ono...It' been round the world (ish).

PROBLEM....XTZ finish is in a few hours and I can't get to see this @ until tomorrow.......

HEEEELLPPP.

Sensible hat...pick a figure for the XTZ and stick to it....(plus X's to get to pick it up next door to the National !!!

If I don't win...have a look at the 650@.....

Re: Find a bike for cabby !

Seems a sensible option to me.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?
