Errr, yes, there's been another incident like this with no insects involved whatsoever.
Apparently I am allergic to some medication, been taking it for years and it forms a regular part of my life. I have apparently suddenly become allergic to it as a result of a degenerative condition I have.
Last weekend I took the same pill I took at the campsite and was almost comatose within 20 minutes, same rashes and swellings and hives etc and woke up in the local general about 4 hours later, same as the national,no recollection of anything.
Bit weird eh? Still, I'm booked in to leicester royal infirmary in a few weeks to find out exactly what and what else I am allergic to so going to have a day of being a pin cushion.
A big thankyou to all those that helped out when it happened at the national, I did thank as many people as i was told were involved at the national before leaving or on the way home but if you were involved even in the smallest of ways and I never saw you I thank you for the care I was afforded by my fellow xrv'ers.

For those of you that went on i think PaleRiders ride and did the ford at Gothland i was there last night for my dinner on the Steem train, Very nice and well worth it (wifes birthday)

How ever on my way home about 11pm i went over the bridge and went left to have a look at the ford and had a sudden supprise to see it was now at 5ft,(wife screeming thinking i was going to atempt it) and flowing very fast.

Pics on Phone so not great.
Was down there today and it was back down to 2ft and a suzuki quad sat there and one half way through, Did look fun but not for the bike.
But could of made the ride out intresting two weeks ago.

Lost in the middle of the Moors?? Nah of course not

Some mad Polish girl....no idea who this is

Having a break from Bazzas Trail ride

    Damage inspection after 'the descent'

To: Farky, winxp-master, digitalcaptive, Smokey Dan

Thank you guys for lovely comments, one thing I must say is without the fantastic atmosphere and such a great bunch of people they wouldn't have come out that brilliantly ..

Yorkshire Moors was my first visit up North, and I must admit as digitalcaptive said I'm already looking forward to see you all next year!
