    Keep up at the back.

The 15/16 MARCH will hopefully be the main event. I have to confirm though with the field owners.

Although I need to confirm that no-one else is using it that weekend.
I'm going to put the event in the calendar as I need an idea of numbers to give the field owners.

Re: XRV run Off Road Day(s)

Right I'm very sorry but having spoken to the owners they don't want any more events in March or April.
So the earliest I've been able to book is the 10th / 11th May!!!
We can do a recce in early April though.
We also can only do 1 day as they don't want 2 days in a row.

They are sensitive to 2 things, noise and any claim being made on them!

So I think we need to make a rule of no offensively noisy pipes. So if you could MOT your bike with your exhaust then that's fine otherwise quieten it down somehow!

Lastly insurance, they are requesting that we have insurance, so this could kill the event stone dead, but they are happy if we sign disclaimers to say that if someone broke their neck on their land we wouldn't have any claim against them, and displayed notices saying the same.

    Thoughts comments?

Re: XRV run Off Road Day(s)

The disclaimer is a pretty standard piece of kit even for road rallys track days and everything in between, so I for one would be happy to sign a disclaimer - we know what we're doing has inherent dangers and we embrace them willingly. If you need a legaleese type wording I can forward you the ones I've signed for this years rally and previous ones.

Think the easiest thing to do would be to have copies on the day and get everyone to sign them before they can go out.

As for one day - great if thats all theyre happy with then so be it - and we should all guarantee to be on our best behaviour so as to make sure we're invited back

We need to liasie with the pros (mudwiz et al) to find out whats best for them coz the more experts on hand we have the better.

    Wot Alps said .

I think the people on here have proved time and time again that they are a good lot , so no probs with any idiots..

A disclaimer is a good idea and i for one would have no issues in signing up for this event.

Crack on Dave and get it sorted mate..

If it's May/ june/ july/ August then I'm out sorry, the only thing I'll be doing is hoping from the sofa to the loo and back again. More than happy to help organise but it looks as if Dave and alpslapper have it undercontrol
