Re: XRV run Off Road Day(s)

I've polled on the first option but I'm actually up for everything bar teaching and leatherman torture.
I got quite excited about Jenna's plan because I might just be able to get my bike to Wales via ferry for a weekend, east coast would be a lot more work for me, April sounded good to me too to make the travelling and camping brighter.
I might be able to fly to a bike provided course to various places around the UK.

was going to vote have skills will teach but no one would want to learn how to flambe' stuffed chicken breasts rolled in parma in white wine sauce,on a single ring burner

especially fletch as he just eats 'em..................

two day course would be good, why not just combine it with the salisbury meet?

April would probable be a good time because it will give lots of time to organise.

Camping/Salisbury Plain/April sounds good to me

Always happy to pass on my limited off-road skills. In my opinion there's really just a set of basic rules and the rest is down to the experience gained in ignoring the basic rules!

Re: XRV run Off Road Day(s)

    Ok bit of info:

    Hit The Dirt in Norfolk

I spoke to a guy there called Chris. He said at the weekends the track is opened to the public and theres no way round that - saturdays are less busy than sundays

However - if we booked a wednesday we can have the place to ourselves, and he will provide guidance and tuition for those that need/want it - bearing in mind we will have ''instructors'' within our own ranks.

If we can muster 20 people he wants 350 english pounds.

That's 17.50 a head, for the use of their circut for 6 hours - 10am to 4pm with him on hand for advice etc.

Theres a campsite down the road open all year round that Im investigating further.

    Thoughts???

Re: XRV run Off Road Day(s)

Forgot to add he wants 20 english pounds per head if less than 20 people in the group - still not bad - and he reckons transalps and their ilk would cope just fine with the course.
