My Vote is for somewhere in the Yorkshire Dales.

Its between the M6 and A1, so relatively easy to get to from North or South, Its 320 miles from Inverness and 345 miles from Torquay, so its fairly Central.

The Dales are a beautiful area and are within easy reach of the Lakes, the Moors, the Pennines, Northumberland National Park, possibly the best area for biking in England at least.

Yeah but it was a brilliant location, central to the country and stunning scenery to boot. But if it had to be somewhere different i would vote for the west of Scotland

Looks like it's going to be a toss up between Scotland and the SW ?
Why not do both ? Have the National down south and a wee blast up North another weekend, after all, we are only talking about 3-4 days off work per trip? You could take a more direct line up North instead of going by Glencoe etc
The Haggis run and the National together last year worked well I thought, well, why not do it again ?
I don't mind travelling to the south as long as the craic is good
and I know that between myself, Steve T and the rest of the lads, we could show you around the hills up here.

Anywhere a BMF show is being held the facilitys are great for camping and they have live entertainment,plus all the trade stands.

Are these days off essential for the National meet? I have 20 days holiday at my disposal this year and have (kind of) already allocated 11 to Morocco and 9 to Norway!!

You can take as many days as you want. Last year i rode up on the Friday and came home on the Sunday. If you dont work weekends you will only need 1 days holiday.
