My 2 rideouts will be TARMAC ONLY - with frequent stops for coffee / photos.

Friday 12th - I'll be doing a 'Historic Plymouth' rideout stopping for lunch at the famous 'Cap'n Jaspers' on The Barbican - will post the route back here when finalised.

Saturday 13th - I'll lead a 'Central Dartmoor' rideout - approx 70 miles / 4 hours with coffee / photo stops - again I'll post the route here when finalised.

These rides will be limited to a maximum 20 bikes (using Drop-Off System) - otherwise it becomes unmanageable on the road.
Please put my name down for these. Looking forward to it already - and I haven't returned home from my current holiday!

Do people cook in the marquee if it rains?

Sounds like it'll be a great meet,
Dartmoor is a place I'd love to ride around,
Sadly I'm not able to come,
Look forward to another time tho...

That's such a bad idea, you drink with Muddy and he gets you to agree with all sort of nutty things.

I doubt I will join any of the rides once there, going to be taking it easy as it will be the first big trip on the bike for months.

    Perhaps Dr Green woud lead a ride, taking in some of the spots on this report;

    Local solo ride out

    Particularly the old wood.

How about it Dr Green ? Local knowledge is a wonderfull thing.

I'm happy to try to put together a map-based muddy run, but if there's local knowledge that would be a much better run leader.
Hear there's lots of rock stuff down that way?
There are some great lanes around the Totnes area which we could explore , i have done several in the last few weeks on my @ but had to turn back on several due to being on my own and the mud was deep

Good news is that most of the lanes appear on my sat nav so im up for a bit of exploring with my (limited) local knowledge thrown in.

Slimie and I will come armed with ideas for a road route too. I'll also work out an interesting return route for the Sunday that ends near the M4/M5 interchange. (There are plenty of local members who can suggest routes too.)

Any one want to come along?
