I'll be trying to leave Lewisham quite early to take the M25 before the traffic (otherwise I'll need to wait until at least 9.30 before setting off, which is another possibility).

Then it will be straight M3, A303, if that helps.

A38 at Exeter could be interesting then, as everyone congregates from the north and east Or do I go along the B3212 through Moretonhampstead - looks like a nice squiggly road

I *should * be getting there at around 3pm or so on Thursday, maybe a bit earlier (depends on the M6/M5 traffic )

I was thinking that needs including in any off-road route as there are few off-road tracks anyway,

Follow A38 to Ashburton (2nd exit) - the road to Princetown from Ashburton is winding and interesting!

I have no idea about the exact when and where, but I'll be in the Christchurch area picking up a teapot before heading to Dartmoor, somewhere wednesday/thursdayish.

(Not good at planning, me. I'm going in more or less blind. Oh well, should be fun either way. )

There's a few bikers getting together somewhere too, or so I've heard.
