For the Zebra it was but the rocks suspended her just above me so she did not land on me and I could free myself from under her, just in time to hear Mudwiz say: "I was about to offer to stand in the hole and help keep her upright."

It was Mudiwiz and BT Bloke we were waiting for to leave that morning.

I wonder if school ever starts on time where he works.

    Re: National Meet Picture's

I'd just like to say a MASSIVE Thank You to all those that worked in the background organising a brilliant National Meet.

Our best ever attendance, with some members travelling an awful long way to come along, BRILLIANT!

I had a great time, and hope you all did too, and it was great to see so many of you and put a face to a name, so Thank's for coming along, and hope to see you again next year or sooner!!

On the subject of pictures, whilst perusing the internet this evening. I came across a totally random picture that reminded me of someone that provided some of the best free entertainment I've had in years!!

Any idea who?? Answers on a postcard please...

    The marvels of photoshop.

Although the Zebra was upside down in the hedge with the front wheel higher than my head.

    Re: National Meet Picture's

    Just a few from me,

Me and Jay arrived Friday night just after 10PM, I pulled up outside the Plume to be greated by Vader and Chad, Vader took my bike of me to park it for me (still struggle with some bits on the bike) Chad put a pint in my hands. What absolute stars.

Vader had cooked us tea but I think he'd had a few beers by this stage

After tea we popped up to the Marquee, and after a little too much drinking, giggling and more drinking Pale rider asked for a little help putting his tent up, it looked like he had been knitting with his tent Friday night and it took lots of very drunk people to sort it

Yes it was a Khyam quite erect tent, and just before the next photo Derek's comment was "that tent cost lots of money" he looked quite worried as we took the canvas off

True to form, Chad to the rescue

The photo shoot for the Longest Day on Saturday morning

A small group of us went to Loos???? to the beach on Saturday, MoM did the route finding, taking the shortest but a very nice route there at a really relaxed pace. With our groupe there were Lord and Lady Vader, Cie, Slimie, Stanbloke and Nursey and me. We got there, parked the bike had a little walk into the town found a pasty shop and sat on the beach in the sun eating our pastys. Followed by ice cream and some great conversations about cottage cheese.

I had a great day with some of the nicest people

Just put it in your mouth and suck it Stanbloke do you want some cheese with that

    Friday night in the marque

And on the way home Jay, honestly Sharrie, it's the only way to park them

And on the final straight, down the lane to our village

We have had such a fantastic weekend, it's been lovely to put faces to names again.

My National Meet Pictures (no apostrophe needed!)

It must have stopped raining more than I remember, because I took more photos than I thought!

Near Abingdon I met up with Marc, Anton88, BTBloke and RussH and travelled in convoy with them the rest of the way.

There weren't many tents up when we arrived, so we could choose a nice flat spot with dry grass. (yeah, right.)

Friday's rideout. The bikes overlooking Plymouth Sound.

We crossed into Cornwall via the Torpoint ferry and came back over the Tamar Bridge.

Some of the non-Hondas at the Tamar Bridge

But the Hondas vastly outnumbered the rest.

    More from me

On Saturday a small group of us set off to explore.

We found the ford and after much debate Samwise decided to give it a go:

It was pretty dark, so my pictures are a bit blurry, but this one shows how deep it was,

And it got deeper in the middle.

    Here's a Dominator giving it a go.

I was too busy willing him on to take any photos of it under water, but notice how everyone rushed to give him advice - from a dry vantage point:

I didn't get any photos of PhilW in the water, but the plugs were quickly removed, the engine turned over and started again to get the water out of the exhaust.

Chad had waded in to help push PhilW out:
