Where we went we didn't need roads

Only for the hardy this one. The only editing I have done is to remove all the road riding. I did not video the final trail as by that time my nerves were nearly as shot as my bike and I must have forgotten to switch on the vid.

Yet still this is almost an hour long (did we really only spend an hour off-road?). (edited and shortened version posted later - page two)

    [gvideo]http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=-7578542338221677316[/gvideo]

It was recorded using the Sanyo Xacti mentioned in the product review section. What apiece of kit, It was still working when I hit the hedge, the water and when I went upside down on the rocks.

I will further edit it and add in some Andy's pics for the DVD version, but this is a quick edit as I am busy with work.

Yeah, work is the curse of the drinking classes!

Thanks Chris, really HUGE THANKS for all the work you put into this weekend, we all know it couldn't have happened without your efforts.

Good choice for a thread title... "Where we went we didn't need roads"

This is mainly because, we DID need recovery vehicles and a Chinoook to extract Kamikaze Whealie's bike from all manner of places you'd have trouble parking a bike, even if you wanted to!!

I think I was actually the first person to "Bin It" that day, and there were many others (including Whealie) that ended greasy side up, but I have to say, I have never laughed so much, at the sound of scraping frames and crunching plastics in all my life!! A hilarious and most excellent day!

Re: Where we went we didn't need roads

There was so much rain the "ROADS" were like rivers and the soil on the surfaces proved the go anywhere part of the bikes.
