Hey, if anyone's bringing a garage, can I put Boris in there too?

Hi Nick - and thanks for the offer. Sounds like you're going up on Thursday? I won't be leaving til Friday - have stuff to do and a physio assessment on Thursday.
Lord and Lady V are going up on Friday afternoon so I might be hooking up with (or trying to keep up with) them if the timing and geography work out and the physio doesn't say 'not on your nelly' or words to that effect

    Re: Bike Security

Use a thin (very thin!) peice of string or something and tie the bike to yourself. The string etc should be designed to snap very easily, even as far as a paper "fuse" in it, but it will wake you up, then the fun can begin.

I've used this with rucksacks and things in some very odd places, and normally just sitting up and waving the ice axe has secured my property.
(Try an overnight just outside Kings X station for one!)
