Just a quick run through in reverse order for those that missed the awards ceremony itself.

2007 XRV Pool Champion went to MidlifeCrisis for a staggering 8 ball clearance from break.


2007's Most Controversial Post(s) Cup went to Shep for his conspiracy theories and politico-financial verbal jousting.


2007 Gnarliest Bike Silver Platter went to none other than myself, Robster for the Varadero Blackhawk.



And finally the big one......

2007 XRV Man of the Year Gold Cup was awarded to Cabby for his eagle eyed assistance in the recovery of the stolen Dommy. A worthy winner I'm sure you'll agree and just pipping Chad to the post in the votes at the very last minute.


A very big thank you once again to all those who took part in the somewhat complex voting procedure, and to those who donated the "metal".

Very surprised that Anton didnt win the gnarliest bike award. I havent seen the other bikes but his rd04 is the absolute business with about 1000 hours of labour involved

I'd like to thank the Academy, my parents and the Pub, without all of whom I would never be the successfull pool player I am today.

(For the record Cabby did offer to whip his top off to present mine but I declined the offer )

Well...What can I say......I tried to argue that the "Stolen Dommie Thread" wrote itself and required only an hour's effort on my part compared to Chad's selfless "Distance and Time is No Object" way of dealing with things................

BUT...The voters (who seemed a bit miffed that the Big'un wasn't there) ignored my plea's and I was forced to accept the award.
