Sorry to be a computer chimp, but despite installing that registry doofer for uploading pictures from xp to the web I can't get any phot's in to my gallery.

I can't see the link 'publish items to web' - should it appear on my web browser or on my explorer window? I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, I just can't work out what!

Progress....of sorts. I only got the 'publish to web' link if I went via the start menu, rather than the win-key+e short cut I usually use. Anyway, now the problem comes when I try to log in to upload the pictures: when I enter my user name and password it wont give me 'next' option and if I press return I just get a dialogue box saying I selected 'cancel'.

Sorry to be a muppet, but this is really proving difficult for me for some reason

I'm using the latest version of Firefox by the way (in case that helps diagnose the problem).

You can't use Windows Explorer (Win + E key) to publish.

It sounds like that it hasn't validated your user name and password.
Remember that they are both case sensitive.
