    I loaded a pic of Mark's bike that had his number plate showing. I've smudged the photo and reloaded it. It is in the ride out folder under working bee. If you look in the folder, the image has the number plate smudged and unreadable.
    That page is here:
    http://www.xrv.org.uk/phpBB2/gallery...2_itemId=13090
    I have re-pasted the link under this photo into my post but the old image still comes up showing the registration.
    like this;

    Now deleted. the image number though was 13090

    So how do I make the image I have loaded, which has the number plate hidden, work? Why is the old image still there at all?

    Your web browser is probably grabbing the image from your cache. I've just looked at the image for the first time and the number plate is unreadable to me.

    Try hitting refresh on your web browser whilst holding down the left SHIFT key, that should force most browsers to reload the pictures for that page from the site and not your cache. If this doesn;t work then delete your internet cache.

    Are you saying that in the image showing in this thread you cannot read the number plate?

    My IE is set to refresh everytime I look at a page - this has stopped it using cached files in the past.

    I can read the number plate.
    3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

    1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

    I can read the number plate.
    But you can't on the picture in the picture library. So why is the link to that picture showing a previously saved version?
    I know, I'll delete it and load a new one.

    It's really weird. I can see his number plate.......BUT NOT HIS SEAT!
