How do I post a short link in the way that The Doc has at the top of his post here: http://www.xrv.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=20989

When you post a message the best way is to simply type the TEXT you want everyone to see, Highlight the text, then click on the INSERT LINK button (the icon looks like a world sat on top of a paperclip...)

The button will pop open a small window asking for the URL (that's the web address) just put it in the box.

There is a more complicated way to do it and that is to type it all manually, the format is as such

[URL=http://www.anywebadress.com]viewable text here[/URL]
