I think you can only upload pics up to 2meg in size.

Actually size isnt specified in the upload admin settings apart from ZIP files (multiple pictures that have a maximum size of 16000KB. It's the maximum size that is specified and Raven's size as stated below is way above it. Begs the question has the size limit been changed recently???

PS..looking at the pictues in Raven's album the largest are all 1280x1024 with most being 1280x960

On it's way / It's not just this picture though, its any picture I try to upload...

Quite simply anything above 800x600 is a waste as taking into account screen sizes, browser borders anything about 800 to 100 pixel width is cropped/resized anyway

Oops . Up til now I have been uploading the full size photos after converting them to JPEGs to save on file size, never actually occured to me to reduce the image resolution. Up til now though I have never reduced the resolution, and as you said my files are 1280 x 960, I take it that it has resized them for me?

GD2 (the graphics tool that most websites use) can resize the pictures, but I find it weird that the set limits would allow you to upload anything above them.

Perhaps the limits/rules have changed recently...

Anyway have you tried again with the limits? If so did it work OK?

I have resized the image to 1010 x 910 (if I resize any smaller it gets all pixelated), and the same still happens . It will get to this stage:

But then the page will just go white instead of loading the next page. The same happens wether I just let it load or if I click the link to manually forward me.

    Hmmm, that's weird then...

Looking at your account you're no-where near any limits...

Have you sent a sample picture yet to Dave?

Yup, sample picture sent. I've even tried messing around with browser options in case it was something that changed my end but still no luck

Sorry, didn't mean to increase your workload .

Out of interest, I've just logged in as Miss Raven_UK, and the photo uploaded first time straight away using her account, whereas mine still fails, so it's definatly something to do with my account .

Yes as you've said nothing wrong with your picture as quite within normal boundaries.
There's also nothing wrong with your account either!
Did you do this on the same computer?
