Posting Pictures

When trying to upload photos to my albums on the site, I can get so far as choosing the ones on my hard disk that I want to upload, and I can click submit. Then the page just goes white and says "Done". If I click back, the "webpage has expired", if I click refresh nothing happens.

I have also tried on Miss Raven_UK's computer and the same happens. Everything was fine last time I used it. Any ideas?

use photobucket or similar ?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I want to move all my Bike pics to this site so that I can close down my Photobucket account (its otherwise unused).

Raven what is the size of the picture your are importing, the only time I have had problems is when the picture was above 5 mp

It is a 4 mp picture, resolution 1920 x 2576, file size just under 1mb. They are from the same camera that I used to take all the other pictures that I have uploaded into my gallery, same size, quality, resolution etc...

Send a sample picture to admin@xrv.org.uk and I will have a look.

The upload settings are set to allow a pic maximum size of 1280x1024, resize to that size or below and you should be fine.

Quite simply anything above 800x600 is a waste as taking into account screen sizes, browser borders anything about 800 to 100 pixel width is cropped/resized anyway
