    Re: Members map

Thanks for that DC. I just checked on firefox and you are right, I am there ( not that there was an ounce of disbelief). While I was there I altered my category to members location..........
Two birds, one stone?????? sounds like Bridgend on a Friday night.
    Regards
    Greg

    Re: Members map

    I'm in the same muddle.
Tried several times to put me-self oh t map using the previous hints and it does not show but when I look at "Member List" I have put myself in 4 times.
Can't see how to delete the 3 earlier entries and leave the latest one.
Can other people see me on the map right up there near John O Groats?

Yes there is a problem in IE7, but the author of the modification is no longer supporting it, so we're kind of stuck until I can find something similar.

    Re: Members map

    Cheers guys
    getting there eventually
now you know where to come when your visiting the top of this little island.
Bad weekend, went to Inverness yesterday to spanner for no 1 son on an enduro event today in Aberfeldy near Perth which is about a 2 hour drive. Left his home at 6.30 this morn with bike on trailer at 6.45 turbo on Laguna Tourer blew pulling up the Daviot Brae and consumed half the engine oil. Had to call nice RAC man.
Non Honda Trail Bike forum tip - on any turbo diesel if your power falls dramatically, you hear a screeching whining or rattling noise that is rev related but lags momentarily behind when you lift off the gas and the exhaust starts smoking - immediately pull off in a safe place stop engine, check oil it will probably be low or very low - call nice man with pick up truck.
What happens is the bearings fail in the turbo then take the oil seal with it and the turbo sucks the engine oil into the inlet manifold through the knackered seal thus supplying the motor with extra non diesel fuel. If you continue to run it will consume its own oil and when you try to stop it it will keep on reving higher and higher even with the ignition and fuel off as its running on its own engine oil with no control over how much its sucking in so that the engine revs increase until it self destructs in a cloud of black smaoke or you jam it in a high gear with the brakes full on.
02 03 lagunas are quite prone to it at around 90k but this one did it at 70k.
back to commuting on the alp tomorrow
    Cheers
