    Slow response times.

The site is very slow tonight - 25 second page loading on an 8Mb ADSL connection.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Something does seem to be wrong.
I have reported it, but it seems to have just sprung in to life.

    Re: Slow response times.

Yes although not slow enough for my monitoring software to see there is a problem, but it did kick up a fuss from 4am to 7am this morning.

I looked at the server at about 07:00 but the server wasn't under any stress at all suggesting that the problem was elsewhere.
Our hosts haven't confirmed either way yet.

I am doing everything as I normally do as follows :

    go to picture gallery

    click upload photos

    fill in the boxes

    browse (quickly) from my pictures

    click upload.

Then it takes ages, and returns to the start with all my boxes empty.

It does not go through to next page, where you normally edit comments etc.

    Cheers Frad
