Would it be possible to delete ALL my photo's in one foul swoop?
I have tried to delete some as individuals but I seem to get a "no thumbnail" message left in it's place.
Any help greatly appreciated
Greg

Hi Dave,
Yes you are correct to assume that I would like all my current photographs stored on Xrv to be removed. I have all the photographs backed up on an external hard drive.I am also having a bit of a sort out and I think it looks a little untidy on there at the moment where my photo's are concerned. I am due to post something within the next few days about asking any members who are or know of someone getting married so that I might be allowed to shadow their professional photographer in order to gain experience of wedding photography.
Greg
After some head scratching I've done it.

Greg I dont want to put a damper on your plans, but wedding photography is a hard fought market, I and most other professional photographers have it in contract that they are to be the only professional or professional equipped photographer on site.
I travel great distance and put a lot of effort into producing a package, most pick the smaller cheaper package but we have hard times as well and if you sell a few extra the better. The last thing any photographer wants is uncle Sid looking over your shoulder and snapping away after you have posed and sorted out the photo. I get quite anti with people stealing my shots.
If you want to learn you will have to learn by assisting and those photos then belong to the contracted photographer lock stock and barrel by copywrite. if you want to assist you will have to show a good portfolio of portraits or reportage shots and contact photographers not couples.
Nick me old mucker,
I think you might have possibly misread the post.
I shall explain my intentions.
Friday the 19th of June I have been asked to photograph a registry office wedding for a friend.
I'm doing it as a favour to try and help keep costs down for the happy couple.
I'm not looking to go into business as a wedding photographer nor am I looking to take my hobby any further than where it is right now.
All I am looking to do is gain an insight in to the how's and whys of wedding photography.
I would naturally not look to use any of the professional photographers photographs in any shape or form and fully understand the copyright issue regarding it.
I basically would like to gain some knowledge of what setting to use etc etc by assisting or shadowing.
I am in no uncertain term an amateur and wish to remain one and seek only advise and some way of helping two friends save some money.
Hope this clarifies my intentions
Greg
Take a look at the SWPP website (Society of Wedding and Portraight Photographers). In the shop they sell lots of books covering the subject. You might get some good tips.
