Tell you what Chad. I might jump on the bike in half an hour and ride to the Starcom HQ near St. Ives, Cambridgeshire, so if you fancy it I could meet you on the way up.

Re: TLD an xrv event we must all rally behind

Here is a point of view from someone who is not involved..

Tell me to ****off if you want..

How do you think the offending thread looks to the charity.. I have to question if the thread should have been made (public) anyways.. or just locking the thread after the initial post.

How does all the fighting look to new members or members that might want to help, but are afraid to post ...

Yes I was going to post in the thread but after this mornings spate of deletions and posts being moved , I decided to post here instead.

I saw many people trying to lighten the mood , which I thought was a good thing but it really has gone to far now.

If I was doing the TLD this year , at this moment I would be feeling very worried about the goings on here , it would be bad enough thinking about driving all that way.

I do help other charities, but I think the TLD is great and the fellowship shown here is fantastic to arrange such a complex event such as yours..
Takes a lot of time and freely given by volunteers but the fighting should be taken off the public forum...

Yeah, I know that free speech is para mount to some people . but this fighting will only discourage people who might want to help in the future in orginising etc etc.

I know its put me off totally ...

    some people might think ,good!!

who wants a moaning scotsman anyways..

    Just my thoughts..

Another Coffee Chad...... There's one here ... beside my bike that needs fiddling LoL
