If anyone creates a thread then it's taken on merit as to whether the thread is important enough to keep on topic or allow it to be taken off topic with also the threads owner's views taken into consideration

With the charity thread you're talking about a thread that is being watched by the MAWF and is essentially about the survival of a major charity event. Hence MOM deemed it necessary to be kept on topic which I fully agree with...

dont agree with that either if whealie wishes the post to stay then they should and you mods should back off as there is no harm in the banter that is bring some humour back into a thorny subject.

So then as a Moderator you should have stated that you were deleting/editing the posts regarding unsuitable material for that very reason, so my post in which i qouted MOM saying off topic posts will be deleted and qouted Whealie saying to leave them was dleeted simply for being off-topic as it contained no gratuitous material whatsoever.
