I have subscribed- why did you delete my post-I was trying to make contact with him? Am I not allowed to place up a telephone number or an email address for him to contact me- I have certainly seen other subscribed members place up their telephone numbers.
I have no wish to offend- so would be grateful for clarification here

It's always been common practice to remove posts answering already deleted posts..

Also please keep for sale/wanted posts to one thread only hence your advert for an advert is removed especially as this is a "what's it worth thread"..

You have the ability to PM gravelrash with contact details he though can not reply but he should have your details in an email as he has EMAIL NOTIFICATION set to ON

I do not seem to be able to PM gravel rash- I can PM others though. That was the reason I put a link to the for sale section. Could you let me know how I am to contact GravelRash?

Should I use the last known area (here) to direct him again to my post of interest to him- I do hope it wont get removed again.

He has your details on email (instant notification), it's now upto him to contact you back or not.. If you can't PM someone then normally it's a case of they have PM's turned off

You can though ask a mod or admin to pass on details to thier email address (we can't give it out due to privacy issues) this though is at the mods discretion and will only be done when they have time

Rod, I think what hasn't been explained is that Gravelrash effectively posted a For Sale advert in that thread. Gravelrash is not subscribed and therefore under our forum rules cannot post any For Sale adverts. Therefore his post and yours responding to it were removed.
They were also in the wrong place as it was mixed up in another thread.
So it wasn't anything you had done and was no fault of yours.

If you want I'm very happy to forward on your details as you won't be able to PM GravelRash as he isn't subscribed. Although as Kymmy says he has actually had an instant email notification with the contents of your original post anyway so could easily have responded to that.
Apologies if this comes across as a bit harsh, but we have set our rules to hopefully find the right balance.
