    Hein Gericke Road Cool Pants

Bought these today Hein Gericke (UK) Ltd. so thought I’d let you know what I think of them.

I decided to get some new pants as my old ones had gone baggy and was annoying. I wanted a good pair, leather, but comfy.

The bib section is very good as regular pants if not tight enough can slip down slightly and become uncomfortable. The braces clip to the front to allow ease of putting them on/off and there is 3 pockets, one on either trouser and one on the bib.

There is armour in the knees only but there is armour pockets on the hips and back so more can be added if required. The bottom of the leg is nice and wide so is comfy around the outside of a boot but doesn't blow up when at speed.

To be honest, these are the first pants I have had that make me feel safe and comfy since having a one piece suit. All others had to be connected to a jacket via zipper or braces used but didn't fill me with confidence. These pants fit nice and although are snug (with the slight feel of one-piece) are comfy and unrestrictive.

The bib section can not be removed and is fixed but it is perforated so you don't get too hot on those not so common sunny days of ours.

The pictures on the Hein Gericke website shows the waist adjuster as a buckle/clip but infact it is 2 Velcro adjusters located obviously left and right these to me are better as they can be adjusted very easily and quickly to your own comfort.

Not much more to say really apart from the price, £189.99... Well I have seen much more expensive pants for a lot less quality so I think if you are in the market for some new duds then you can't go wrong with these.

    Craig.

these have come down in price now to about the £125 mark so even better.
they are made from good thick leather and i find them very comfortable.
i have only given them 4/5 for quality as the lining is a bit nasty and snags my feet when putting them on.
