    muc-off Dirty work wipes

I came across these as a freebee with a magazine subscription, as wouldn't have paid the £10 for tub of 40 XXL wipes even with a 'fresh citric burst' But these have cleaned some really oiled and fithy hands, better and less messy than swarfega and even beating my own sugar and washing up liquid concoction.
These wipes allow you to have a good clean up before even venturing near the sink (having put oily handprints all over the door handles and taps etc) worth the money to save the earache alone They do a great job and handy air tight tub means you can keep some in the boot of your car or where ever your likely to get filthy and have no access to running water/ towels etc (Altough I suspect if you don't keep the lid on properly they will dry and be less effective.
I know £10 doesn't sound that cheap but upto 40 messing around with the bike times, will last most of us a good few months, maybe years! I've never needed 2 wipes, and I'm still on my first tube after 6 months (Father Christmas put another tube in my stocking so I recommending it to everone)

Good review mate. like you said, i wouldnt have considered buying them ordinarily, but sound handy for having a pre-clean cleanup, as it where.

Any better than just spraying Mucoff on your hands and using paper, like a big garage type kitchen roll, to remove?

    Or parafin followed by water?

If some folks want another gentle option for your hands , and a cheap one at that then a teaspoon of granulated sugar and splodge of washing up liquid really works a treat (did me for year)
As the ad says 'give it a go, or your'll never know'.

I just use Johnsons standard baby wipes - £5 for a 4 pack in Asda or Tescos and you get about 50-60 per pack

Great on the mucky bits on the bike - spokes, wheels, swingarm, chain, plastic and rubber bits like chainguard, rear mudguard undertray, indicator stalks etc. Nourishes them and makes them look new

    Good on your hands too

If it's good enough for babies it's good enough for my bike

02 RD07a RWB, Powerbronze tall screen, Remus Grand Prix, TT crash bars, TT pannier frame, Zega style panniers, Alpos top box,TT bar risers, TT headlamp guard, Heated grips, mainstand, Heidenau K60s for road and light offroad, TKC80s for the dirty stuff, Scottoiler, Autocomm, TT Zumo mount, Zumo 550 and most of all A BIG GRIN !!! Oh, and a very nice RD04 HRC coloured Marathon Replica

orange juice and salt is a good one, the acid in the juice cuts through the oil and the salt provides the scrubbing. not very skin friendly though and viscious on cuts!
and its actually more expensive than a good quality industrial hand cleanser these days

If were going off topic, then I always find WD40 really brings black switchgear plastic back to life, and doesn't hurt your connections either
