Knox Recon Gloves

Needed a decent pair of summer gloves with a wider cuff colar than most summer ones have so I bought these.

They fit the bill, plenty of vents inbetween the fingers and on top as well as the back of hand. In behind the barkbuster wind protectors they dont let much in and can be used on a cool evening, even a cold day with heated grips.
Stick your hand out in the wind and instant refresh.

Plenty of safety features with lumps of plastic to prevent damage etc.

Really soft kangaroo leather on the palms makes for a great feeling glove, fits just liek a glove...as they say.

Wide gauntlet section allows wide cuffs to fit inside and will work with leather or looser material based gear. Closing mechanism is positive for this use also.

Only negative, one of the biggest features is the closing mechanism holding the glove on in the event of a crash/slide. I can close the mech fully, feels really tight, but yet I can slide the glove off fairly easily. Strange. I can add to the security by tightening the wrist strap most gloves feature, a narrow velcro affair, but I thought this cable/twist mech was supposed to do all of this?

Not disappointed though, still a great feeling glove, airy yet protective for touring. Easy on and off with the mech and a lot less faff than velro bands etc.

Wont be crash testing them anytime soon though.
