Where do you get your bike MOT'd

Seemed like a good idea to get a list together of people in our areas that we trust to service and/or MOT our bikes.

Admittedly, a lot of them might not have web sites, so a company name and town would work, or maybe a link to yell.com where their details might be.

    Thanks

I used to use a dealer in Cinderford Glos before I moved so anyone near Gloucester / Forest of Dean Area look them up. www.hainesmc.co.uk - They know their trail bikes - it's a main Honda dealer but don't let that put you off!

the MOT center? Obviously i'm only joking about. In Northern Ireland the MOT system is all government run so you can go to whatever center you want but there are a limited number of centers.

I use Fins www.finsmotorcycles.co.uk. Very good, they will tell me when something is on the way out, and fully understand the need for a non-standard exhaust.

For MOT's in London I can recommend the "Motorcycle Service Centre" (sounds grand, it isn't!!) 541 Harrow Road W10 4RH. Very fair, turn up and wait service. It's busy on a Saturday mornings tho' Often full of DR's, which I take to be a good sign.

Also full of Despatch Riders this time looking for tyres is Essential Rubber, 27 Downham Road, N1 5AA. Good prices and again a turn up and wait system that's busy on Saturdays, it's worth 'phoning to order tyres in advance as they only tend to keep the more run of the mill tyres in stock.

    This is just my tuppence!

    Cheers
