I used thier ebay shop to order something late afternoon Thursday (16:00). It arrived Friday (10:45). Bloody great service, well packaged too and they were helpul when asked a question.

Can't recommend their online service enough

I can vouch for C J Ball too. I bought my original Transalp from them a few years ago when I lived in Norwich. They even rang me up at work a short while after I'd bought the bike to make sure that I was happy with it and everything was okay. Not bad at all.

Unfortunately, the bike died of a VW Passat on a sunny May morning in 2004 - and I healed after a LOT of physiotherapy. Thank goodness for my Hein Gericke gear that took most of the pasting. I'll stop here - it's a long story.

It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

I live just a few miles away and they're very friendly. Last Autumn they arranged a test ride for 16 people on 16 different bikes. The route was about 100 miles and we swapped bikes every 20 miles or so. It was great fun and we all got to try bikes we wouldn't normally think of testing.

Chris Ball is a dyed-in-the-wool biker and a good chap to boot. He led the ride.
