    Paddy's Pitstop in Dublin

Got bike problems in Dublin? This is an unbiased plug for Paddy's Pitstop, Unit 1b, Ossory Court, 24 Ossory Road, Dublin 3. It's just off the North Strand Road at the bottom of Amiens Street. His phone is Dublin 00353 1 8559711. Email paddyspitstop@gmail.com. Current opening times Tuesday Friday 10am to 7pm. Saturday 10am 4pm. He helped me out with a rear puncture I had in North Dublin while rushing for the Holyhead ferry at Dun Laoghaire. It was the second rear puncture in two weeks, because the repair of the first one had been botched by a garage in Larne (in the North) - the rim tape hadn't been put on right, and one of the spoke ends had gone straight through the new tube. As I was by the side of the road near Dublin Port trying to figure out what to do, two different white-van-guys stopped and recommended this guy. He had a new tube fitted in about 5 minutes (literally) and was very easy to pay. He can fix pretty much anything on any bike.

TonyK - Paddy's Pitstop has only been open for about 6 weeks, so the fact that 2 guys stopped to tell me about it, even though they weren't bikers, indicated that the guy must be quality.
Simon - Yes. I've been out of circulation lately, in high altitude training for future remorseless decadence. Good to be back.
