Thumbs down Bridgestone Customer Service

On Saturday 14th of June this year i ordered a rear Bridgestone Trail Wing for my @ On Monday the 16th of june i left my rear wheel in to get the tyre and asked the tyre guy to order me a front Trail Wing and i picked up the rear wheel that evening. The tyre Guy said he had ordered the Front tyre and it would be with him on the Wednesday 18th of june. It is now the 30th of june and STILL no sign of the Front tyre . Between myself and the tyre guy we have rang Bridgestone everyday and NO ONE at Bridgestone can tell us either where the tyre is or when we will get it.I have contacted BOTH Bridgestone Ireland and Bridgestone U.K. and have hit a brick wall .HOW a company like Bridgestone can INVEST MILLIONS of pounds supplying tyres for the MOTO G.P. effort BUT cannot supply a CUSTOMER with a tyre is beyond me,Especilly after making a VERBAL CONTRACT to supply the tyre in the timescale they promised.I always thought that was the whole idea of getting involved with High Profile Sports SO that CUSTOMERS would want to use the most succesful Products .Clearly Bridgestone don,t want any of their CUSTOMERS to use their Products .I have wasted over £10 in phone calls trying to track down my tyre with no success,Bridgestone have lost another CUSTOMER due to their don,t care attitude ,Never again will i use Bridgestones .This is for the benefit of other Riders who use this Company,s tyre,s DO Yourself a favour and change your Brand of tyre,s to a company WHO CARE.Francis

Re: Bridgestone Customer Service

That's pesky verbal contracts for you. They're not worth the paper they're written on. Have you paid up front for the tyre up front?

Have you tried Wemoto?

Re: Bridgestone Customer Service

Hi Alan No i have not paid up front for the Tyre , I will give it to the 16th of July and if it is not at the tyre Place by then they can stick it were the sun does not shine. My bike has never been off the road for more than a couple of days Even for something Major not just a tyre change and thanks to Bridgestone i did not have the use of my bike for over two weeks.I did not buy my bike to sit in my back yard with only one wheel in it.Honda can send you a part from their main Spares Depot in Belguim and get to Northern Ireland the next day.The clowns at Bridgestone should sit up and take notice otherwise they will find themselves out of a job.I work in the supply trade for Bakeries and if our company cannot supply the customer within two days of them placing an order WE would be out of Business by the end of the month.Francis

Re: Bridgestone Customer Service

I'm still waiting since 4th June for my rear tyre. Ordered form two different companies and they both say they can't get them from Bridgestone. Although when the invoices came through, they seem to be the same company. (the fast one & busters)

Re: Bridgestone Customer Service

I Eventully got the tyre 1 Calendar Month after ordering it . I think i will send an email to Bridgestone Japan to let them know how bad their customer service is ,And to not bother putting money into Moto g p as it is a waste of time if customers cannot get a tyre in a couple of day,s maximum.Hope you get your tyre soon or better still get yourself Metezeler Tourances better tyres by far .Francis

Re: Bridgestone Customer Service

Thanks for that - I ordered mine on 4th June and still haven't got it. I've asked them to supply a tourance instead. I could have tolerated the fact they were out of stock...it's the bull**** and ficticious delivery dates that gets my back up.

Re: Bridgestone Customer Service

Hi Tizzi i know what you mean.First i was told two days ,Then it would be at the tyre place in another couple of days ,That did not happen almost 10 days later it would be there first thing on the Friday morning/then Saturday without fail of course it did not turn up.In Northern Ireland it is normal not to get anything overnight so you don,t mind an extra day or so BUT one Calendar month later is extracting the Urine. It makes me wonder how you can get Metzeler Tyres in a couple of days but not Bridgestones .Maybe Bridgestone have over stretched themselves and Production for Road based Motorcycle Tyres has been cut back to make more tyres available to the Moto G.P. Effort. Which in my mind is a total waste of time .If you see your Hero / Favourite Rider winning on a Type of Bike/Tyre/Oil/Petrol/Clothing or whatever you will want to Avail to the same Products to show your Support for that Rider/Team/Sponsor and to use the best products. So when you order That Product you should expect to get it in a certain timescale i.e. a couple of Days to a week " Unless "you are in the middle of nowhere Artic/Amazon Jungle /Oil Rig . You could Reasonably expect a Delay for a one off tyre Special size but not run of the mill Tyres that fit a wide range of Makes and Models. If Metzeler Can get your tyres in a couple of days then there is no reason why Bridgestone cannot do the same.Hope you get sorted soon.Francis
