    Thumbs up Metzler Tyres Tourance,s

Hi everyone i am a new convert to Metzler Tyres due to a company of clowns called Bridgestone who do not care about their customers i have changed to the Metzler Brand. Up until around four days ago i had never ridden a bike fitted with Metzler,s , And did not know what to expect on Sunday the 29th of June i set out on a voyage into the unknown . The Sun was splitting the trees when i left the house and Half a mile up the road i was thinking to myself these tyres are awesome out of the box. I felt right at home with them straight away .About twenty miles later i stopped at a roadside cafe and had a bite to eat and a coffee and took off again , A couple of miles up the road the clouds darkened and before i could get my wet suit on the rain was bouncing off the road . I started off again wondering what the Grip would be like no worries as the Aussies would say it was like going down a dry road no difference in the grip level at all. When i had about sixty miles covered i decided to up the Pace a bit and it was like riding on Rails .I had planned on doing about 100 miles to get the tyres bedded in,I ended up before i got home again covering 247 miles and enjoyed every one of them .A massive thumbs up to Metzler Tyres,And even Better when the Tyre guy ordered them he told me they would be at his place the Next day and they were.Francis

Does that mean your bike is finally back on the road.

I have Tourances on my transalp, I have found them far better than Bridgestones. They are grippy in the wet and gave me loads of confidence when riding on them. They last for ages as well, I put mine on last year not sure how many miles I have done on them but it is far more than any other tyre I have used

Hi Sharribee Yes my @ is back on the road again,It was driving me up the wall.I have owned and ridden bikes for over 20 years and not one of my bikes has ever been off the road for more than a couple of days.I ride my bikes all year round ,The Metzlers are way out in front of any tyres i have ever used .I don,t know how you have kept Sane with being off your bike due to your knee op , As soon as your are able and Ready i am sure you will have to be lifted off your bike as you will not want to get off it ,Which one will be first the Trusty Transalp or the @ .Enjoy your next Journey and don,t over do it.Francis

I haven't kept sane, I am now certafiabley nuts

I really want to take the AT out first but I think I will go for the Transalp because it's a bit smaller and lighter so will get some confidence on that first
