Ard Cases - Roger is the man !

My personal mechanic/off road instructor/bling adviser and I, took a little trip over to Ramsey Fortyfoot on Friday to pick up, and have fitted my new Ard Cases. As far as I can tell, they are a great bit of kit and a quality build. So if you are thinking of getting some hard panniers, then give Roger a ring, (07931288035 his number is on the GSer's site) really nice chap and even provides the tea. while you wait. Some of his work can be found here ARDcase - Page 15 - ::. UKGSer.com .:: , will post some photos if anyone is interested, once I have made them more personal.

yo grumpy,

I've just ordered me ARD's and i just want to know how your getting on with them, were they easy to fit? do they stick out much? what colour is yours? how much have you stuffed in them? Sorry, getting a bit over excited there....it's all too exciting. I'm going to have a lie down now.

What's to say? On My Tiger they stick out 1" wider than the bars. On The Twin they stick out a bit further.

They go on, come off (but only when they should), the shut tight (I use padlocks to lock them). They don't leak. If you fall off your bike they get scratched.

Roger and bt fitted the racks, it was the first Transalp he'd done, so was a bit of a learning curve for him, they stick out about inch wider than the bars they measured it after the fit, grey boxes with blue lids, as previously said they are a good bit of kit and a lot cheaper than some of the other well known brands. Good luck with 'em and hope the lie down did the job
