    Madison Distribution / MotionPro

At the weekend I managed to break my MotionPro chain rivetting tool while fitting a new chain to the Varadero.

I went to the MotionPro U.S.A website and posted the following query:
Hi, I managed to break the ALIGNMENT BOLT (part 08-05 on my chain tool today. I see you sell them separately as a spare part. Could let me know the price to ship one to the UK or give me the contact details for stockist here. Thanks Austin
MotionPro forwarded the email to Adam Hartwell of Madison Distribution who replied

    Hi Austin.
    how are you?
I am sure we can set you up with a replacement part for your tool with no problem... the part you are after, 08-058... there are a few parts that start with that number (B, C or D) we should have them all here... if you could send me a picture of the broken one, so I’m sure of the part, I should be able to set you up with a new one... chances are I have one in the workshop that you can have for free.

    best regards Adam.

After sending a picture I got another reply
no problem... i have dropped one in the post, it should be with you in the morning.

    take care.

    Adam

And it arrived today 3 days after posting the question.

If it's the madison that import/dist all the push bike clobber, they have always been quite reasonable folk in my experience. (unless it involves a shimano MTB part return then forget it!)
