Fins Motorcycles, Redhill, Surrey, MOT & Service

Folks, I tend to leave it a while before I praise companies, just in case my visit occurs on their only good day.


Credit where it is due now, I would like to sing the praises of
Fins Motorcycles in Redhill, Surrey (01737 768129)

They offer a drive-in, while you wait MOT service which I have now used atleast 4 times. They are an efficient, friendly bunch of enthusiasts who love to talk bike, but get the job done at a very fair price.

Last year, I took my Africa Twin RD04 there for an MOT, which it quite rightly failed, as the front wheel bearings were dodgy, the headstock bearings needed adjustment, and the chain was a tad looser than it should have been. I put them on the spot and asked if they could replace the wheelbearings and nip up the headstock and chain there and then, and they just took it in their stride, did the job, and it passed it's MOT straight away. I got charged for half an hours labour and a couple of wheel bearings!

This year, I used them again, and my RD04 was in and out, passing straight away, with Fin actually commenting on how nice the old AT's are.


Anyway, you won't go far wrong, good old fashioned service with a smile, at a very reasonable price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Just to add to the last posting. As a scooterist for more years than I like to remember , I have found Fins a friendly , honest and more than helpful business to deal with.
I have dealt with several so called scooter business's over the years and none comes close to the service and professionalism of Fins.
I recenyl traded in a Vespa GT scooter for a Yamaha T Max, a fantastic deal and am over the moon with it. So much so, I went back to them to purchase a wonderful RD Yamaha . All the staff as well as Fin himself are a credit to the biking profession to such a degree that after 30 years plus of being a mod, Im going over to being a biker!!!
Will be visiting Fins in the near future. Have all my MOT's there and always a pleasure to deaal with, so helpful cheers guys!

I still got my first Lambretta (S1 Li150) and Vespa (Smallframe 90) tucked away for the future. Now if only I could grow some hair back and squeeze into me old suit!!!!!!!!!!

Fins are ACE, and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Going back to my post on trading in my Vespa, I've since been back to Fins, first to buy a Honda Shadow and more recently a Kawasaki Drifter. Once again over the moon with the bikes, the service and everything Fins has to offer. if Fins did Lager it would probably be the best lager in the World!
