    Tyres, tyres and more tyres.

I'm always trying to see if there is a place I can order cheaper bits than here in Estonia as prices are pretty steep, motorcycling being a niche market and all.

Anyway, I recently found this site that seems to have very good prices on tyres. If you can mount them yourself, you may save a few bob...

Motorcycle Tyres from Avon, Bridgestone, Continental, Dunlop, Maxxis, Metzeler, Michelin, Pirelli and Sava

No idea if the service is good or reliable. Can't even be sure that you won't find cheaper, but seems like good value by my standards!!

Just did a search on tyres to fit a TA600 (just typed in 90/90-21 in the front tyre field and 120/90-17 in the rear tyre field and search for pair prices!).

Cheapest were Avons Distanzias at £135, inc vat delivered (to Estonia!!).

If that is indeed the price, that is pretty impressive!!

I've seen it listed as 120 in a few places including the tech specs on here. It may be a case were either will do as long as the profile is adjusted accordingly. It should not be a rpoblem for the rim, I would have thought...

Which ever is chosen, I'd expect the prices to be similar. Still a good deal in my book!

I agree, it won't make a big difference.

The Transalp went to a 120 section for a couple of years (not sure which ones) then reverted back to a 130.
