    Hi guys..

Can any of you tell me where I can find the best deal on parts for the Vara XL 1000.

I need to buy a L/H front upper pannel, Lower pannel,( The black plastic piece), Mirror and the brake cover/shield.

Dont even go there mate..Less then 30 miles and over it goes on black ice

Roads were lethel this morning and no matter how careful I was there was nothing I could do..Feel sick as a pig.

Really dont like these square tread type tyres it comes with either ..

Tried Dave silver but could not find pannels on there..might not have looked properly..

£250 excess on the insurance I dont think I have any other choice other then to claim..

I would think its worth the insurance way, as at least you have some comeback if parts dont fit, or break on them fitting them and you have a warrenty on parts fitted.

ask for the duff parts back and flog them on fleabay to recoupe some money, who knows you may get more than you paid out especially if auction ends on a weekend.

best of luck , I was out down here today and the roads are okay aprt from big potholes and gavel/grit everywhere.

My bike has 2 busted side fairng panels just glued back together and sprayed , adds to the go anywhere character

David silver does not list the parts on the Web site but a phone call should sort it. I would phone up and find out the cost of parts before making a claim on the insurance.
If the parts are less that the excess then buy them and fit yourself, if not then claim on the insurance and lose a years no claims bonus on top.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

If you phone David silver ask for the 3-4 week it's normally a lot cheaper but currently i don't know what the € - £ is to know how much better the price would be
