    Test Querys

Hey all new member here...........be nice...please.

I have got the riding bug from my best friend and his parents, his mum and dad have been touring all over the shop for as long as they could ride, and stu has just passed his test and has been bugging me to get mine done...so we can go out riding around the country...which i am working on at the moment.

Just wanted to know if any of you guys could suddgest a decent test centre, for me to do my direct access course, i have already passed my theory, and as of yet have not got my CBT, finding one that would let me do both my CBT and Full Licence in one ( however many days course ), go would be adventagous.

I live in driffield in yorkshire by the way so one pretty close by would be great but if it comes to it i don't mind traveling ( in my car DOH! )...

    cheers gav

Probaly your best bet is to pop along to a local motorbike school, and book the Direct Access though them. get them to assess you and then book the DA.
I did one l1/2 day esson to get used to the school's GS500's, then, with my test the following week, did a morning lesson before the afternoon test.

Either check out Yellow Pages / Thompson Local, or pop along to the one that did you CBT.

Good Luck. if you pass the south coast, drop me a bell, Ill do a few miles with you

    cheers jvaughan

i been doing a bit more digging and think i am gonna do it the old fashion way and have a few lessons, then do my test rather that sign up for a several day course, think it will be a bit intense and if i have a few lessons spaced over a few weeks i think things will sink in a bit better. A friends mum reccomeded somebody in york so i gonna give them a ring at the weekend and see if they can sort me out. Coz i have not got my CBT yet so gonan get that done asap then get test done asap, need to get on the road before summer, yay!!!!!!

Try York Motorcycle Training Centre (I think). You'll see 'em on the left hand side of the main Driff-York road (Hull Road) just after the Park and Ride/B&Q.

Give me a shout when you're up and about - I'll do some miles with you too and I only live a few miles up the road in Wetwang (now wait for the comments to start!)

There are some messed up place names in this country, but that one has to be up there with the best of 'em.

    1. Our mayor is Richard Wh*tely (well, it keeps the house prices low)
    2. I am the person born in Cleethorpes (no one else admits to it).

OK. Nothing else to tell I believe. Hope that little lot will keep you amused for a while.
