Planning to do my previously abortive trip to the Isle of Raasay on Sat 14th.
Anybody up for it ?

There is an off road bit on Skye which we can do, (those who don't can go round by road.) it's about 6 miles of high level track.

The weather on Skye has been absolutely brilliant, so the tracks will be bone dry. Just keen to get this run underway whilst the weather is so good. Be good to do Calum's road on the island in the dry

The ferry will dictate timings but hope to leave Inversnekky around 10 ish or whatever

If any of those southern central belt type chappies want to stay at mine on the Sat night, they are very welcome

I could be up for this. It kind of depends on home stuff as I'm in the throws of trying to buy two, yes two, bikes and will be selling another once the boy sorts his new bike out.

I forgotten as I'm getting old. Were we planning an overnight job or a day trip?

Roughly what time do you reckon you will be hitting the A87 on the way up and leaving Skye on the way back.

Heading north next Thursday or Friday no real plans just ride the bike and camp looks like i might have a plan for Saturday.
