I think it will be a bit weather dependant myself, but end of feb shouldn't be too bad, any how, don't put the willies up me already.

I just thought that some might not go alone but in a pair or more, might consider it.

Now where did I put those studded tyres.............

Thanks africajim, now I am sh)tt(*g myself.

    Havn't had the covers on.

I am just fitting some spot lights, so I have got the fairing off at the minute. Hopefully I can ride at night, and see the deer.

I will be doing a run before Wales, just to get the bum broken in again.

Aye Steve, Sounds like a plan.

I have my tank off / screen and clock surround.. today to do some wiring for 12 socket.

The snow gives me the crappers , but hopefully we can get some a warm spell soon.

Will be good to get everyone together..

Yes it would be good to see everyone again. How about a March trip down to Red Squirrel or Comrie Croft or somewhere else that brings out the pyromaniac in us?

Actually we could do something earlier if we went to somewhere that has a bunkhouse and a pub nearby.

750R in bits but a few hours will have it back Alp ready will see if I can fit a day trip in Steve
up for a cold rough camp Loch Morlich may be a tad chilly... was last March but with the snow we have had so far could be interesting

Rick has a point about lights as I recall our flight from Stoer and the deer, wabits and BADGERs 750R not the best and Our 13hr round day drip, early last year to Durness via Altnahara and Ullapool had me riding back through some very dark lanes with poor lights....
not tomoro though as I spent part of the day digging folk out to clear the drive to the 'main' road

Didn't notice these posts, sorry guys.

My plan of running the Kawasaki for the winter has been a disaster, after stripping the fuel system down three times and flushing the tank it's still having problems. Coupled with the most uncomfortable seat in the whole world I've decided to give up on it and get rid of!

Hope to have the Mighty Varadero back on the road soon though if only this weather would dry up a bit!

On trips, well, Boris mentioned a bunkhouse, there's a bunkhouse at Oban divers campsite, or at least that's what it used to be called. They also have a brilliant covered barbeque area for dining regardless of weather! £40 a night for 6 sounds ok to me? Worth looking into! Me and Fiona usually camp down there in April to kick off the season.

Agreed, we need to start planning runs though.

    Re: Regional Meet - Scotland

Anyone up for a burn this weekend, how about Helmsdale for fish and chips.

Saturdat looks best, but I cant get on the road till 09:30 hours, which would see me at that petrol station just north of Dingwall ( I forget the name) at 11:00hrs......

Or anything else, I'll fit in.

Either that, or I will have to pop into Lowfliers for a coffee......
    ..............whats that, he's moved.

Oban sounds good but I'll need to get the Vara MOTd and Taxed as it ran out a week or so ago I'm away in Brentwood Englandshire working this week and probably too busy next week to do it and the week after that I'm in Ipswich. Hopefully the week after I'll get the deed done and then it's off for some fun on two wheels.

By that time it could be tent weather
