sussex ride report

what a great ride out today me and man up north seeing sussex

the day started out bright and sunny but a bit crisp at -2 so the heated grips were the biz

i started out from home (wickford essex) got the boring A127 , M25,A21 out the way . at tunbridge wells i got on the A26 a great road that runs down to lewes .

and stopped for a quick pic








i got to brighton a bit early so i had a cup of coffee and spent the time fending off nutcases

man up north. AKA shaun turned up bang on time and we had another coffee whilst i stood there with a stoopid grin on me face watchin him deal with one of the nutcases that accosted me earlier

then it was back on the trusty steeds for a ride up to ditchling common for some pics

a great day was had by me its just a shame we didnt have more there but we had a good time any how we then rode into hove for roast beef and a pint then went our seperate ways. on the way home i called by oxstead for a coffee with the dark lord of the sith lord vader who happens to be a nice guy even though he has a penchant for dark clothing and heavy breathing nice to meet you pete hope you can get on some ride outs soon on your very very shiny black @

ps. this was one of the many pee pee stops on the way home after all that coffee and two pints of shandy

Looks like you had a good day - even though it was cold, at least the sun was shining all day - up here it was anyway.

I've been to Brighton a couple of times before - sadly not by bike - must be nice on 2 wheels.

Not sure about some of the nutters hanging around on the beach though But i'm sure they didn't give you any trouble looking at the size of you (no i'm not saying you're fat !)

I will be looking forward to coming out on a ride - but will be nearer summer time i think - when the missus will let me go out to play for more than a few hours, and when i can get myself away from my cute little baby.

Thanks for a great report and ride , really enjoyed it (Chads blue @ is really shiney too ) The pictures are great too, I got home to find the wife gone shopping and me with NO keys needing the loo very urgently (to many coffee's ) I didnt stop on the way home

Chad ! smashing bloke with some cool stuff on his mobile, next time we go out on a ride I'll bring my step ladders ( i thought I was tall at 6'1)
Fantastic route round to Ditchling common and then down and over Devils dyke.. I'm up for the next one any time Chad :P

I used to work in Brighton, building the new library, flats and offices on Jubilee st. and know what you mean about the nutters!!!!!!!! Bonanza had the Cartwrights, Brighton has the Notrights! (cos they're not right!)
