    Shropshire Green Lanes

Come for a quick blast around the green lanes and white roads of Shropshire. Most of the lanes hereabouts are perfectly do-able on a large trail bike, even without knobblie tyres. The Long Mynd dominates the area, with plenty of ancient drover's trails to ride/drive along.

    Nice pic's, Ian!

I remember riding past Long whotsit on my way to The Wirral (the long way!) and wondering if you could ride over it and everyone I asked said noooooononono, it's just a footpath! The fibbers

Let me know if you're going again, and I'll try to wangle a pass, it looks fun!

    Cheers

I'll need to check first with my social secretary, but I suspect that the next time I'll be out and about on the Shropshire lanes will be the next bank holiday Monday. I'd be more than happy to lead a small group around for the day. I'll start a thread in the Meetups/Rideouts forum when I can confirm my own availability.
