    North Yorks Off-Road 11 June 06

    Thanks to everyone who came along! I think we were: Ians, adventurer, piguglyshandy drinker, xrv_jim, gs650_dakar and me (fewtrees)...

    Weather was great, riding even better. I checked out the video and it looks like one or two of you chaps had 'scary' moments! I'm sorting the video out as you read this - should be good! I've got the good bits like the beck and the rock steps etc.. plus some cool cruising shots...

    Anyone got photos? Chuck 'em up here...

    What next. Professional camera-men facing backwards on the pillion seat? Helicopter shots? "Second unit" pass-bys?

    Superb day out with fantastic scenery.

    Many thank's to Rob for organising the event, first time offroad with the Alp and I was pleasantly suprised at it's capabilities, had a suspiscion that the suspension may have been too firm and 1st gear too high but not a problem, bike took everything in it's stride

    The track was nicely challenging for a novice like myself, and more importantly everyone stayed sunny side up (just)!!!

    Beyond the call of duty. I'm only half-way through the vid so far. Definitely considering staying with you on the Monday in Italy for the video rideout.
    I've an RD04. Will my bum look big on that?

    Great video Rob, the mount worked really well. Can you sort me a DVD when you have time.

    The track this time was ace, with no mud and good grip and the weather superb, but I do need to buy a summer jacket.
    Wheel bearings now replaced ready for the next run.
