    green lane first time

took her off road first time(nothing serious) today, small 1mile long dirt track with deep tractors grooves to negociate. just getting a feel for back end sliding side to side, butt hole twitching the whole way, with me thinking "should get crash bars first"

good fun though, heavier than when i was 17 with a dt125 down same(though less rutted)track

sorry if pics aint great, used my camera phone, had to get her first mud

Crash bars are a must unless you have deep pockets. Saved my bike 4 times already.

Agreed, last time I gave my bike a little "rest" I broke the crashbar. Goodness only knows what the damage would have been if it hadn't given it's life so willingly

    Cheers

I have yet to mud bath mine too. Will fit crash bars first, as being an MTBer I will probably get carried away

However, I should point out that the red and blue AT are harder to handle than the others, as they have the fastest paint

Was out and about with mine recently also. Everyone says the @ is too heavy to take offroad. I found it as controllable as any(though my screen is a bit high, and being flip up, you have to look over it to scan the gravel.

Took it through forestry track in the Tipperary Mountains which has been rutted to gravel by Heavy rain and logging trucks.

Talking to an offruad guru after about my exploits, he asked me one thing...
What would you have done if you fell off?

Gps says that ledge is 1000ft ASL
