That is a puddle alright ! Looks like a challenging day, the puncture although a pain is a good opportunity for less experienced people , shame i missed it never had to do it and for a first time ideal to have blokes about who can do it. I am planning a trip to the far north in Sweden and thats just the kind of thing i need. Bet it made for a memorable day !

As anton said, respect and thanx to Bob for leading us onto some really nice trails. Thankx to Mav for filling in with the lead at places. Some of us learnt how to change a tube today, so a very educational fun day out. There were two tumbles but no damage done to riders or bikes. I had a great time, just wished 'could live closer. Not everyone who met us at fleet could make it, but it was good to meet some more members and see Cie again. Those Res-Q tags looks the bizz, a really great concept   Thanx for dropping them off Cie. :P I'll let lootch tell you more about KLR's. When's the next one??????

Cracking photos guys, thanks for taking to the trouble.

Looks like you had a great time, a puncture no less, damn, I'd love to have been there for that.. whatever happened to that skills weekend where we were going to learn how to do those things?

Thanks for a great day guys, we got more expierence in roadside repairs than offroading today but that is also essential for those long trips we plan for the future

I will post my pics tomorrow and managed to get most of the mud off my bike after stripping off the panels Wish I could say the same for my clothing, that needs a good wash now.

Anton sorry we lost you but the moment I hit traffic the only thing in my head is to filter untill I am in front

Had a great time today, no pics from me I'm afraid......too busy trying to remember where to go. Thanks to Maverick for helping with the leading and along with Chris (Mudwiz) for entertaining us in the puddles...

Like's been said - Thanks all for a fab day! It's ace to be out, to learn and to be towed!

All that said, I took a little tumble on the Ridgeway, overtaking a mini-bus of all things! Pulled off the main track into the grass, hit the big hidden rut and went down. Thank God for big crash bars - but there's a little dent in the tank nether the less!! Think they'll have to come off and get stamped straight!! (Then put back on again straight away!)

I've got some photos, will post when I get them off the camera.

    Once again - cheers all.
