Just in from a long ridgeway ride (not on the TA!), and a longer (well it felt like it) run in with a copper about rights of way etc. He was nice in the end, but aparently post NERC much of the "classic" ridgeway, south of Wantage, is now classed as a Restricted Byway, which means no riding or 4by4s. There are still some bits we can use, and many other byways around there, but if you're rushing to do it before the 30th Sept seasonal TRO deadline, check before you do!

Overall - I recomend red filtered lights, silent exhausts and a midnight attempt, with the number plate "covered" in mud! (Joke - thats not legal!)
