Wow! This might sounds stupid, but I hadn't realised how beautiful the country could be. The media tend to concentrate on the poverty etc. I've heard that the differences in social standing among the people you meet can be vast. However, great pics. Thanks.

(Hmmm. I'm adding more countries onto my "must visit" list as quickly as I cross others off. This list isn't getting any shorter!)

You are right about how beautiful India is DDY, me and the good lady were fortunate enough to visit there a few years ago. Fantastic place, fantastic people, a country not to be missed.

If you want to get the Asian touring bug get a copy of Geoff Hills book "Way To Go" blackstaff press. He flew out to India bought a new Enfield and rode it back, along with boxtychamp from this site, to Northern Ireland.
He's the guy who wrote the 4 points of Ireland article on this site and has just finished the Pan Amercian Route. Ive tryed to get him to buy a @ but he would rather have a cruiser... oh well no accounting for taste.
RWB rd07, remus can, dynojet and K&N filter, givi racks, givi hard cases, oxford soft luggage, tourance tires, 12v power socket, oxford heated grips, centre stand, touring scottoiler, very bright headlights.oh yes and a tank cover and bag.
