Wonderful! Fab photos, I love those sort of ground conditions.It was that sort of thing that prompted my high front mudguard. Did your front wheel lock up?

nope, no lock ups but I tried to stay as much as poss on the grassy bits, cos the wheels wanted to go in two different directions as soon as I strayed onto the mud. It was the first time I've ridden on a surface that slippy & muddy, I don't usually trail ride in the wet cos neither me or treaclefoot are equipped for it.
I stil mostly ride on the road & the anakees are superbly good at that, they allow me to ride the trails here in the dry, & I can't afford 2 sets of tyres, so that's fine. Now I know to stay off the mud...![]()
